Thursday December 5 1907 I had bread and cake baking today. Mother came out at 9.20. After dinner I worked some on her waist. We walked down to the 4.37 car. Mollie came out at 5.20 to stay all night. We had a good evening visit. Friday December 6 1907 I worked on Mothers waist when not busy with the cooking. Will to town in afternoon. I cut out a pair of night gowns for myself in the evening. Saturday December 7 1907 I neglected the housework to sew I nearly finished my night gowns and in the evening I hem stitched the towel and put the lace on it. Billy had the wood all piled and began to cut down trees. Will to town in afternoon. a pleasant warm day. Sunday December 8 1907 I was at home all day and busy all of the short forenoon with the house-work I had neglected it so yesterday I read and wrote in the afternoon and evening. Weather was warm for this time of year. Mother & Ott went to the west farm. We went to bed early I felt tired.
