Thursday April 9 1908 I got my work done as quickly as possible and began work on my silk waist. I put in every moment when not busy with the meals. We had the first little pigs today. Friday April 10 1908 I sewed all the time I could spare from the meals Will went to town this morning, and cut stalks in afternoon. Billy finished plowing the meadow ground. Saturday April 11 1908 I did churning baking and sweeping in forenoon and sewed all afternoon on my waist. I got it nearly done. I worked with Billy in the morning awhile fixing places to set hens. I set 9 tonight. Will went to town in afternoon and Billy finished cutting stalks. Sunday April 12 1908 It was such a bright morning that I went to church. I was at Dr Smiths office and on over home for dinner. There was a strong warm wind but I walked over to Woolfs on my way home. Will is improving but Mary fell badly today. I did evening work and read awhile Will has been about home all day.
