Thursday August 6 1908 I was busy all forenoon with the regular work. I wrote a letter to Lydia during the day. I sewed some in the afternoon. Will about the place most of the day. Friday August 7 1908 I went down home with some things for Mother and got apples. I stopped at Woolfs on the way home they are about as usual. I called at [Fochlers?] in the afternoon with Frankie [Pointoin?]. Mrs [Fochler?] died last evening. I got supper early and Will and I went to Chautauqua. It was very nice a big crowd there. Saturday August 8 1908 I was busy with the baking in forenoon. Will went to town in afternoon and I down to the grounds. We both went in the evening driving down to Woolfs first. Sunday August 9 1908 Was busy with the work all forenoon. I went down to Chautauqua in the afternoon Bishop [Bristell?] spoke it was fine. he lectured yesterday afternoon. We both went in the evening. A very entertaining evening a big crowd. We did not wait for the car but walked home. It was pleasant to do so.
