Friday September 11 1908
I did the house work and a little sewing.  It was a very warm day.  Will cut corn in the morning  He got so over-heated that he kept in the house all afternoon.  Very warm and no breeze so he had to pump water for the hogs. I did not make a fire to get supper
Saturday September 12 1908
Still very warm.  I did housework in forenoon  had dinner early.  Will went to town at 12.12  I wrote a letter to Lydia and made some tatting  Will came home at 3.39 as he had to pump water.  It was too warm to do anything but sit on the porch till bed-time.
Sunday September 12 1908
I got the work done up and went down home at 10.12  we were invited there for dinner at Cora's Mother is here for a visit.  Will was down for dinner too but came home before of me.  I got our suppers and we caught some more chickens to go tomorrow  We talked on the porch till bed-time.  There was wind enough today to turn the wheel.
