and see to other things. I took some things for Hattie and went down later. I helped some with the work there. We of course cannot be at the dinner this evening Will came over after me and we both stopped at Woolfs awhile we did not have to stay there all night. Tuesday October 6 1908 I was busy with the work all forenoon and after an early dinner went down to Woolfs to spend the afternoon Mother and Hattie came over too. They look for Frank & wife tonight. Will had been dressed and put in the casket and looks very nice. We were not needed there tonight. Wednesday October 7 1908 Did the morning work and had dinner early so Will and I went down to Woolfs. Frank and wife had come and the funeral was very nicely conducted. We got back to the house some after four and we came on home. Weather fine. Thursday October 8 1908 We did the forenoon work and Will took the horse and went to ride in the afternoon with Frank Woolf. I went down home at 1.12 to attend the fancy work party. I enjoyed it very much. I came home at 7.30. Fanny did not get back from her Mother she went there early Tuesday morning as her Mother had been taken suddenly ill. Mrs Shultz came today.
