Thursday November 26 1908 We were late getting up and the forenoon was short. Martin & the boys came in for dinner. I went over to see Lizzie Duncan late in the afternoon. Charlie come in for supper and to take the family home. We have had a very very pleasant Thanksgiving day. Friday November 27 1908 Martin sent Robert in with the [surry?] for us this morning we took a ride around town first. Our visit out at Martins was very pleasant, but [illegible] Richard was not well. When we came back I went down to Duncan's where I stayed all night. Lizzie has to go with a crutch after an accident. Saturday November 28 1908 I got over to the [Alton?] depot to see Lorna and Lib start to Mason City and went with them. We called at [Donovans?] and later pt Lib on the train for [Easton?]. We got back to [Deloran?] before one oclock. I called at Mrs Jane Woolfs and on Rachel Hess in the afternoon. The evening at [Veras?] Sunday November 29 1908 I left [Deloran?] at 8.35 for Chicago. I had such a nice trip reaching the depot at 1.45. In 20 minutes I went out to LeGrange on a sub-urban train where George [Bremer?] met me. I was jist in time for dinner and spent the evening there most delightfully Mr & Mrs [Bremer?] are there for the winter. rainy today.
