Wednesday May 12th 1909 It was 23 years today since Will and I were married. We talked of it quite a little today. Ed Karr was not-able to work today. Mr Vaughn worked till noon and it began to rain so he did not come back & could not go in town to have any teeth finished & worked on my tatting & read in evening Thursday May 13th 1909 There was nothing done on the home today. Will helped Art Jones, I was busy about the work all forenoon I went to town at 1.12, I did a lot of errands got my teeth finished and got home at 5:39. Mrs Jones was over in the evening. Friday May 14th 1909 The home work was not so heavy today & worked at the handherchief & over working to send to Pauline. We had a frightful storm last night. In the afternoon the men came to work at the house. Charlie Hedges came to help. Saturday May 15th 1909 I did baking and was busy all forenoon with the work Charlie ate dinner with us. The men made a fine showing on the work today. It was so windy after another storm last night Will worked most of the day picking our potatoes in the cellar. I finished the handherchief. I did churning and swept - and moped both kitchen and shed room at suppertime.
