Sunday May 1st 1904. I read and wrote some in the morning after the morning work was done. Will and the boy took the cattle to pasture. I went down home after an early dinner. Came back by the Hartsock road. Did evening work and visited with Mollie who came at dark. Monday May 2 1904. I had churning to do this morning and the regular work to do. I went to town in the afternoon got me a hat did a lot of shopping. Went out to Mr Jones gardens and over to [Korms?], stopped at Woolfs a few moments. I did the evening work and went to bed early. Tuesday May 3 1904 I did a small washing alone and finished before [Alma?] got here with Mother. I got the dinner and visited with her fixing my blue calico dress in the afternoon The boys planted our potatoes today. Louis worked at home yesterday. Robert Mc came for mother. Wednesday May 4th 1904 I ironed in the forenoon and got the dinner. I worked most the afternoon on tatting for Lib [illegible] and did the mending.
