Friday June 17th 1904 Had a very busy forenoon. I went down home in the afternoon to visit with Mrs Main and Ella who are here from Chicago. a pleasant afternoon. I did my evening work and went to bed early. Saturday June 18th 1904 I did a lot of sweeping and cleaning and that with the care of the chickens as I have more hatching kept me very busy. I was so very tired at night \Will went to town. Virgel finished plowing the corn the second time about ten oclock. he mowed the yard before noon. Afternoon painted the corn crib. Sunday June 19th 1904 It was a very pleasant day. We went down home for dinner. had such a good visit. Came home to do the evening work. Went to bed early. Monday June 20th 1904 Will helped me this forenoon to get the carpet out of Mollies room and we only had time to hurry things in after dinner when it began to rain a fine shower. It took the evening to look after my chickens. Fannie and the boys went to Des Moines today and Mother and Hattie went down to Orie Spencers.
