Tyesday June 21st 1904 I was hard at work all day long. I have so many chickens hatching. I got the carpet down in Mollies room today and things put to rights a little. Wednesday June 22nd 1904 It was a fine day. Will went on the excursion to Swisher, the first on the new R.R. Virgel helped me wash and did a lot of things for me. I went to town late in the afternoon. Will got home first. was till bed-time getting my work all done up. Thursday June 23rd 1904 I had ironing to do this morning and we kept busy most of the day with the work. The boys are plowing the corn the 3rd time. I still have chickens hatching. I had a visit with Fred Stevens over the telephone about his visit to Oklahoma and that I see in the paper that Mollie has a position in the city. Friday June 24th 1904 I had a very busy forenoon. I had a lot of chickes to put out. I have about 130 young ones. I did some work with the coops. It rained in the afternoon. I had picked some goose-berries and got them ready to can. I talk to the home folks several times a day.
