Wednesday June 29th 1904 I baked bread & cake and cooked the chickens to take down home tomorrow besides getting up a nice dinner. I went down to see Mrs Vaughn in the afternoon if she would give the boys their dinners. Was over to Mrs Kosers awhile. I had extra work with the chickens in the evening. Thursday June 30th 1904 I got my work done and we were ready to go down about ten oclock. Nearly all the folks came and we had a very pleasant time. I helped wait on tables Virgel finished plowing the corn three times this morning and worked around the house. I came home in time to do evening work. I was very tired It has been two years since we had a cousins party. Friday July 1st 1904 I had churning and cake baking for this forenoon and got a nice dinner. In the afternoon Will and Virgil moved some of the old [store?] pile. I went down and paid Mrs Vaughn for the boys dinner and read a little in afternoon My chickens are not doing well and I put in so much time working with them
