Sunday July 17th 1904 It was a terrible hot day. Will went to the pasture in the morning. I got our dinners and in the afternoon read, wrote, and rested. Went to bed early. Monday July 18th 1904 A very hot day. The men were putting up hay and Mr Baldwins boys were cutting the oats. I got the dinner and in afternoon wrote to Sister Ida. Tuesday July 19th 1904 It rained last night so they could not work at the harvest today. I was busy with the work most of the forenoon. I was down to Mrs Pointins in the afternoon. I do not feel so very well. Wednesday July 20th 19045 I was busy with the dinner most of the forenoon. I had the men again today. Mother & Sesta Fletcher were here awhile I wrote to Laura Mason. Late in the afternoon I went to town for some things Thursday July 21st 1904 A fine day. Rueben helped me wash and churn and I got a nice dinner. I slept afternoon then worked in the garden awhile. They finished the oats at noon and put in hay afternoon.
