Tuesday August 23rd 1904 I did ironing and got up a nice dinner. The Stevens girls were here for the day. Mollie came for the things she had left. We had such a good visit in the afternoon. I did the regular evening work. Wednesday August 24th 1904 I was busy all forenoon. We had early dinner and I went out to the Old Settlers picnic. Will is very hoarse and did not feel like going. I brought Anna Francis home with me. Did evening work. Thursday August 25th 1904 Will went to the pasture to mow weeds and Walter said he would get some dinner at home so I went down home on the car to do sewing and visit. Got home at six oclock to do evening work. Friday August 26th 1904 I was very busy all forenoon doing churning and baking and got early dinner. Will went with me down town and I went on to the [best?] house to attend the Elder Daughters picnic. I brought Millie Lathrop home with me and Will came on the car. I did the regular evening work.
