Saturday September 3rd 1904 I put down the carpet in our room before dinner and finished cleaning the room after dinner. cleaned the pantry and dried more corn. I had Bob Fachler doing work for me today. I went down to Frankie Paintins to spent the evening while Walter went to town. Sunday September 4th 1904 I did my morning work and went down on the eleven oclock car to Otts. was there for dinner with the folks. The Whetstones took a ride on the care after noon. I stayed down home till the nine oclock car when Walter came from church. Monday September 5th 1904 Walter churned for me and helped me work. I did up the work after dinner and went down town to meet Will. Lydia came with him for a surprise. We had a slow rode home for "Nellie" is lame and stiff. don't know what is the matter. Tuesday September 6th 1904 I did ironing and got dinner and in the afternoon Will took us down home for a call. He went on to town and bought material to fix the hay barn and Walter brought it home in the waggon.
