Wednesday September 7th 1904 I was busy all morning with the work had early dinner and Will took us girls to the fair. It was late were we got home. We saw most of the valley folks. I am very tired. we went to bed early. Thursday September 8th 1904 It was 24 years today since John & Hattie were married. Was busy all forenoon. Will went to the fair again. Lydia and I took a rid. we were at home a little while. Fannie is not well. Friday September 9th 1904 Had a busy morning. Gerta Fletcher here for dinner. Lydia visited on the porch in afternoon. a warm day. The boys finished the hay barn loft. Saturday September 10th 1904 It was a very warm day. Will picked the tomatoes this morning and I worked at them nearly all day when not busy with the cooking. I made some preserves. Minnie Showers was here in the afternoon to see Lydia Will went down town. We were tired and went to bed early. Fannie is still sick.
