Saturday September 17th 1904 I felt very tired and it was very warm again so I was slow getting a little work done. Will went to town on the eleven oclock car. We girls went down after dinner took back the dishes. Hattie went to town with us. We called at Mrs Hoxies and at Carrie Andersons. when coming down College St "Nellie" fell in the pavement, just as we met Willie. He helped us she was not hurt or anything broken. We only stopped won town a little while. Will drove home for us in a hurry it looked like rain. Did evening work was very tired went to bed early. Sunday September 18th 1904 It was late when we got up. I feel all tired out I dd very little work. It looked so much like rain that Lydia and I did not try to go down home in afternoon. I wrote some and read in a book about Ohio that Will brought from Delavan. It was 20 years today some we laid Rob away. Monday September 19th 1904 I had churning and bread baking to do and company for dinner. Mr Robinson and Gerta Fletcher were here. They went away soon after dinner. Will took Lydia down to spend a few days with the home folks. Fred & Floyd Stevens and Uncle Jim started to St Louis this evening.
