Wednesday October 5th 1904 I was busy with the work most of the forenoon. The dinner took some time. Bob did not work today. We had quite a worry about the plastering. got the east side of the room done. weather much cooler. I worked in cellar in afternoon. Thursday October 6th 1904 Bob came back today and did a lot of things Clarence did not come. Will helped with the plaster. They put on another coat over the rest of the kitchen. I went down town in the afternoon for some things. Was very tired and it was late when the evening work was done. weather cool. Friday October 7th 1904 I pout in all the forenoon cleaning plaster from the wood work in kitchen. Will tried to fix the ceiling. he went to town afternoon, got the new windows. I cleaned all the floors down stairs. very tired tonight. Saturday October 8th 1904 Will got a load of corn. Clarence helped. I did some more work in cellar and he did more work on the kitchen ceiling. I churned and did a lot of other things in afternoon. Will put on paint. I took a bath and went to bed early. warm again.
