Sunday October 9th 1904 Will went to pasture. It rained last night and was very warm this morning. I did up the work and got us a nice dinner. I went down to Woolfs and was at home awhile too. took things to be sent to Lydia. I came home to do evening work. Looked like rain. Monday October 10th 1904 weather still warm. Bob came this morning to put in the windows and do some other finishing work. They got the stove up early in afternoon. It was fortunate as it blew up colder. I worked on till bed time cleaning wood work and floors. I will be glad to get done. Tuesday October 11th 1904 I got help with the washing and did the ironing in afternoon. I did a little picking up around besides. Will got load of corn and busy about the place. Wednesday October 12th 1904 I did some baking and other house work and got early dinner. Will went with me as far as home place but came back on car. I took Mother to west farm to see about building. we decided to not have it done. Got home in time for evening work. It was a cool ride.
