Will had help hauling straw and was busy all day. Wednesday November 30th 1904 I was at home all day. was sewing when not busy with the regular work. I read in the evening. Will busy about the place. weather looks like snow. I began to use a new sack of sugar. I will see how long it will last. Thursday December 1st 1904 Walter came to work this morning. Will went down town. I got the dinner and Will took me down home about two oclock. Then he came down on the 6:30 car. Hattie gave a surprise to Otto in the way of a dinner for his 45th birthday. for quite a party. It was a delightful time. We came out home on the ten oclock car. weather wintry.
