Wednesday December 7th 1904 We started down to Stevens about nine oclock just as soon as we got the morning work done. Walter looked after things we had such a good visit. Came home before it was late. Got supper and read in evening. Thursday December 8th 1904 A very pleasant day. Will took "Sarah" down to Dr Edwards this morning and he removed that lump from her leg. She is pretty badly used up. They did not give her either though. I was busy doing baking and getting dinner. We went away in afternoon. I was down home and Will in town. Aunt Emma was over to Mothers. We spent the evening at home reading. Friday December 9th 1904 It was colder this morning but we went down to George Stevens for dinner. We did not suffer with the cold and had such a pleasant visit. It cleared of by evening. we came home early did evening work and read. Sarah getting on all right. Saturday December 10th 1904 I was very busy all forenoon. had churning on [hand?] and baked bread & opened a new sack of flour and wonder how long is will last. I went down home in afternoon. Legrand is getting better. Hattie busy with the church bazaar. We came home early. I read and did mending in evening.
