Friday December 23rd 1904 Will churned for me and as usual I was busy all forenoon with the work. I put in all the afternoon fixing the lining to my old fur cape. I read all evening to finish a library book. Will about home all day. Saturday December 24th 1904 I put in a very busy forenoon, had dinner early and when Will went to town {I} went down home to spend afternoon. Sewed some for Hattie. She was obliged to go to town. Father is not at all well. We came home early. I did evening work and knit most of the evening. Sunday December 25th 1904 Christmas Day. We were late getting our breakfast over. Will had to go out to look after other cattle in our field so I went down to Otts on the 9:30 car. I looked over the christmas tree at Otts awhile and then went on up home as they were going to church. Father is much better, was down to Otts to dinner. We did have such a good day. Will came after me in the buggy. Mother gave me a silver spoon and each of the girls a dish. I did the evening work and wrote some. There is a strong wind and looks like snow.
