Monday December 26th 1904 It was a cloudy morning. I had churning. Will started to do some work with the team about noon but it set in to rain and kept it up most of the afternoon. I read some and began work on some tatting for pillow cases. Tuesday December 27th 1904 It was snowing this morning. I was busy with the work all forenoon. Soon after dinner it began to blow and I never saw a worse day. Will went away over in the field to bring the cattle home. The evening work was hard for him. We sat up late to keep the house warm it turned very cold. I worked on my tatting some. The telephone is all right. Wednesday December 28th 1904 It took all the forenoon to thaw things out about the house. Will worked out nearly the entire day. he could get no help. I did not accomplish much. I read some. Thursday December 29th 1904 weather better. Walter came to help today. I worked on my tatting when not busy with the work. Dr Dean and Miss Bailey were married today. He was sick and the wedding had been postponed two days. It was 35 years tonight since the spelling school at the Brick school house. Dear Rob has been gone so long.
