Friday January 13th 1905 I had a very busy forenoon with baking bread and doing a lot of cooking. It was intensely cold but we went to town in the afternoon for things I wanted. I was busy with kitchen work till late. Then read some. Saturday January 14th 1905 I got my work done in good shape and a nice dinner ready. Will met Hattie, Rob, Clara & Gertrude at the noon car and I had a nice dinner when they got here. Rob and Will went to town at 12:30. The girls at 3:30 and Hattie stayed till 5 oclock. We had such a nice time. It was a very cold day though. I got out supper early and read most of the evening. Walter went to town. Sunday January 15th 1905 It is still very cold. I was busy with the work all forenoon and wrote to Joe Woolf in afternoon. I read all evening. Monday January 16th 1905 I had churning and cake baking to do in the morning. Walter went up to cut wood again. Will took a load of kindling down to the home folks in the forenoon. After dinner we went up to Danvers to get some apples. It is still very cold. I put in the evening with my tatting and reading.
