Saturday January 21st 1905 We were up early. Will went to Liberty for the meat and Walter to the timber. I went to town on the eight oclock car. I did shopping coming back at ten. Will got here just as I did. I finished the work and got us some dinner and I went down home while he went to town. Mollie and Hattie had gone up to Marengo to spend the day. I did my evening work and sewed some on sheets I am making. Sunday January 22nd 1905 It was late when we got up. The weather is colder again. I was busy with the house work till dinner time. I wrote some in the afternoon and read what other spare time I had. Ed Koser told Will today there was $1.75 credit on our ice bill for next year for the work the team did. Monday January 23rd 1905 I had bread baking and churning this morning. I was working some on a dress I am fixing for Mother in afternoon. It snowed most of the day. Walter was sick and did not work. Fred and Mollie Stevens were out for supper and spent the evening. We had a pleasant visit. It turned cold and began to blow the snow just about the time they started home.
