Sunday January 29th 1905 I did a little reading in the forenoon besides getting the dinner. I wrote to Lorie Foltz in the afternoon and read a book all evening. a cold day. Monday January 30th 1905 I was busy all forenoon with the work. We were going down home in the bob-sled after dinner but Walter needed the sled to go to the timber. It snowed afternoon. Will went down to Woolfs for a paper. I was doing some mending. I read all the evening. Tuesday January 31st 1905 weather cold. Walter hauled wood again. Will was busy most of the time taking care of the stock and I with the work. I finished up some mending I was doing. Wednesday February 1st 1905 Walter took his dinner to the timber today. We were going down home for dinner but it began to grow colder. I am making some tatting for Hattie. Will went down on the car. Thursday February 2nd 1905 A very cold day. The boys hauled straw to the barn and worked about the place most of the day. It was all I could do to keep fires and do the regular work. I am working at the tatting some.
