Tuesday February 7th 1905 It was not quite so cold. Will sold 18 hogs and they were busy all morning getting them sorted out and sleds ready to take them down. They brought $165.60. I churned in the morning and baked bread to send down home. We had dinner early and I swept the rooms down stairs. Robert McCallister came out on the 4 oclock car for the bread and butter. Arth Folson was here for supper. Walter is not very well. I got the clothes of the line. Wednesday February 8th 1905 It was snowing today. Neither of the boys feel well today. I did the ironing but did not finish till after dinner. I did a little knitting in the evening. Walter went in to see the Dr. Thursday February 9th 1905 I baked bread and ginger cakes this forenoon. It was a little more moderate. We thought to go to town after dinner but it began to blow cold. I was doing mending all afternoon. The boys are neither able to do much of any work. Friday February 10th 1905 I had churning to do this morning. Walter went to town at eleven oclock. Will worked about the place all afternoon. I finished the mending. John is not well but goes to the store part of the time. It is still very cold.
