Thursday February 16th 1905 Went down on the 11 oclock car and attended the Elder Daughter picnic at Mrs Carsons. a pleasant time, left there at three did shopping came home at four and Will met me to carry my basket home. Got our suppers and knit all evening. Friday February 17th 1905 Hattie called this morning that Liz Mygott had died early. I got through with my work (baked bread and churned) and went to town at two oclock. Called at Minnies, Mildreds, Mrs Sturtevants (a stranger) and at Flora [Platars?]. came home at 5:30 got our supper and read all evening. Saturday February 18th 1905 I hurried through the morning work for the 9:30 car. I went to Liz Mygatts funeral after calling on Mrs Fannie Barnes and got home on the 11:30. I set us some dinner and went as far as Mary Woolfs in the afternoon. Will went on to town. he does not feel very well. We got home in time to do evening work and I knit all evening. weather good again. Sunday February 19th 1905 I was busy about the work all forenoon. I baked bread to take some to the party tomorrow. I read and wrote what spare time I had. Will about home all day. Walter not here.
