Wednesday April 5th 1905 I was busy most of the forenoon with the wash though I did a little sewing. Soon after dinner drove down home. Sewed on the machine some and Hattie and I went to town. I got some trees & plants. The weather was frightful. It blew so cold I stopped at Wolfs to get warm. I did the evening work, read some and went to bed. Thursday April 6th 1905 Will helped me wash this morning and then went up to see about pasture for the stock this summer. I did some sweeping before dinner and put in the whole afternoon cleaning only a few moments. I helped Will put out the things I got yesterday. Mr. Finch bought "Fox" horse today for $135.00. Friday April 7th 1905 Will took the folks down a load of the broken boards this morning. I had ironing, churning and bread baking on hand. When Will brought the mail at noon there was a card from Ida Anderson saying they would be here late this afternoon to stay all night. I baked a cake and got the room ready for them up stairs. They came at four oclock. Will cut stalks for Mr. McGinnes in afternoon. Walter finished the oats on Kyles land. Visited evening with the folks.
