Thursday June 29th 1905 It rained this morning. I did the house work and a little sewing. It was well the party was yesterday. Friday June 30th 1905 I did not feel at all well today. I staid at home and it took most of the time to do the work. The boys cannot plow corn it is too wet. They are working about the place. Saturday July 1st 1905 I was busy all forenoon with the work. We went to town in afternoon. I gave Nellie one of my bracelets for a birthday gift. I stopped at home and Will came over there. We came home to do evening work. I feel some better today. Sunday June 2nd 1905 I went down home of an errand this morning and got back in time to get our dinners. I wrote letters all afternoon. Will and I talked out on porch till bed-time. Monday July 3rd 1905 I had help and did a big washing in forenoon and cleaned up the house. I baked a cake after dinner and Hattie, Dorothy, Nellie & Legrand came out on the 2:30 car for a little visit. I walked down to the depot with them. Will was in town on car in afternoon. It rained real hard just before night. It was well the girls did not stay out for supper as I wanted them to.
