Sunday December 10th 1905 I got my work done in time to go down home at 9:30. I took care of Hattie some and helped Mother what she would allow me on the dinner. Merie went to Cedar Rapids for the day. Alma and Clara went up yesterday. Hattie sat up quite awhile and ate some dinner. Ott & Fannie took flowers to the cemetery. I came home at four. Did evening work and wrote and read in evening. Not a bad winter day. Monday December 11th 1905 It was such a pleasant day. Will helped me wash and then churned for me. I got the dinner in good time and we went down home. I took Mother two hens that Mrs Dennis sent me and got the two from Fannie as I came from town. We did our evening work and I read some. Hattie about the same. Tuesday December 12th 1905 I got at my work in good time. Will went down for Mrs Woolf who is visiting here from Delavan. We had a very pleasant days visit. Will went back to town again in the afternoon and when he came back I took Mrs Woolf down to Marys. It was cold coming back. Such pretty moonlight nights and the young folks on the river skating. Hattie not so well today.
