Tuesday December 26th 1905 I coughed very bad all forenoon but did a little cooking and got dinner. Will went to town on the 12.30. He brought a report of Hatties trouble. He brought a few things put on the Christmas tree for us. I read a little in afternoon and evening. Wednesday December 27th 1905 I was busy most of the forenoon it was so late when we got up. I feel better today. Will went to town at 12.30. Jennie Danner here in afternoon. I wrote a letter to Lydia to thank her for picture received two days ago. Thursday December 28th 1905 I was busy about the work all forenoon. I washed out some handkerchiefs. Early dinner so Will went to town on the 12.30. I put in a wretched afternoon. I had the headache I got some supper. Will did up the work and I went to bed at seven oclock. Hattie is about the same, no better. Friday December 29th 1905 I was able to get up this morning and got through the morning work. had dinner at 12.30 and Will went down to attend the funeral of Mr Robert Denton who had been brought here for burial. I laid down most of the afternoon, got some supper and went to bed early. weather pleasanter again. Hattie about the same.
