Monday February 5th 1906 Very cold this morning. I was busy with the work all forenoon. Had dinner early and Will went put to see Lew Price about the horse trade they have on hand. I wrote to Lizzie Lindley. Read all evening. Tuesday February 6th 1906 I was busy every minute of the forenoon. Will churned for me. He went to town afternoon and I went as far as Woolfs to spend the afternoon. weather very cold but not stormy. I read all evening. Will down to Coralville. Wednesday February 7th 1906 I had bread baking and baked cake in the forenoon. Will went to Sam Frys sale. I got Billy and I lunch. I talked with Ott & Fannie both awhile and wrote a letter to Ida Anderson. Fred and Mollie were out for supper and to spend the evening. Such a good visit. Thursday February 8th 1906 It was cold but Will did a washing this morning. It was all done by ten oclock. He went to town in afternoon. I felt tired for I had done some sweeping and other work about the house. The afternoon was cloudy with chill wind and began to snow at dark. I read what spare time I had. Hattie is not quite so well. I want to go down so much.
