Friday February 9th 1906 I did the ironing and got dinner. I did the mending in the afternoon. Will was about the place most of the day. Weather very cold. It did not snow much last night. Hatties not so well and some thing must be done to reduce the family there and make the work lighter for Mother. Saturday February 10th 1906 I baked bread and Will churned for me. He went to town at eleven oclock. I went down at 12.30. I stopped at Otts. We had some talk there, then I went on up home. Hattie a trifle better than yesterday. Mother does not take kindly to the change in the family. I come home at four oclock with Will. Did evening work. Read some and did a lot of talking over the telephone with the family. Sunday February 11th 1906 I did not got down home as the girl was there to help Mother. I was busy all forenoon for we got up late and I had neglected the house the two last days. Fannie said at one oclock that Hattie was so poorly they were going to see about another doctor. I read a little but was too worried to fix my mind on any thing. Late in the afternoon Allie, Ott & Mildred Stevens with the children were here. I read some in the evening and went to bed early.
