Saturday February 24th 1906 It was raining when we got up and rained the entire day. I put in the forenoon with the work and Mollie and I had our work for the afternoon. Visited till late bed-time. Will brought the little mare home this morning for $100.00 Sunday February 25th 1906 It was bright this morning and Mother was down in Coralville some time. I did the regular work and prepared dinner. We talked till time for Will to take Mollie down to the 5.00 oclock car. I did a little writing, got supper, and read all the evening. Hattie is very much better. She was dressed awhile today. Monday February 26th 1906 I was busy with the work all the forenoon and did some knitting and reading in afternoon. Will was down town coming home on the 4 oclock car. weather better. Tuesday February 27th 1906 I got my work done in time to go down on the 9.30 car.
