Will cleaned out the water tank this morning and put new foundation under it. We girls went down home and to town and stopped at Woolfs for a call. The weather is hot and dusty. We spent the evening at home. Saturday September 8th 1906 I had baking and extra work this morning. Mother came up at 9.15 and Susie got back from town an hour later. Will in town afternoon. I did some mending. Susie went with Mother at 5.30. It was 26 years today since John & Hattie were married. Sunday September 9th 1906 It was a fearfully hot day.
