Friday September 28th 1906 I went down town at 8.30 and back at 10.15 to get the dinner. Will has a man helping him now. I sewed all afternoon. It was raining. I read in evening. Saturday September 29th 1906 {I} was busy with the work till two oclock in afternoon. I then sewed till supper time. The boys brought the cattle down. Will went to town in afternoon. I wrote in evening. Sunday September 30th 1906 I went to church in the forenoon. I got our dinners and then went down to the river. Otts folks and Hattie took a trip up the river in Jack Pointains launch. They all came back here for supper. I read some in evening. I wrote to Ida Anderson and Alma Parvin. Monday October 1st 1906 I did the regular work and was busy sewing most of the time. Will began to sow grass seed on the new meadow. We have a man to work for this month. Tuesday October 2nd 1906 I did the washing alone with my new machine. The men busy about the place. I went down to Mr Davis late in afternoon and called to see the new baby at Fred Robinsons. I did a little sewing in afternoon. It was a fine wash day. I folded the clothes and did evening work.
