Saturday October 13th 1906 Will helped me wash. It was a fine day. I ironed in the afternoon. Mollie stopped here to stay all night. She had been to a teachers meeting. we spent the evening visiting. Will to town in afternoon. Sunday October 14th 1906 Mollie and I went to church and to the hotel for dinner. Then down to John Stevens awhile. I came home at 2.05. I did some reading and writing. Monday October 15th 1906 I was busy with the work all forenoon. Did baking. I went down to Fannies after dinner. She and Mrs Ida Swisher celebrated their birthdays together. Ida came home with me at 5.15. Got supper and talked till early bed-time. Ida had bad cold. Tuesday October 16th 1906 Did morning work. Went to town with Ida at [9.30?]. She went home. Hattie & Fannie were over to see her start. I came home at 11.15. Had letter from Lydia urging me to come. Mattie Oustatt there. I wrote her to come here. I put p 8 qts of tomatoes in afternoon, peeled all evening. Wednesday October 17th 1906 It was eleven years today since brother Charlie died. I put up pears and did the forenoon work. Went down to Fannies on the 2.30 car. Mother there too. I then went over to Aunt Libs for a call. Came home at 5.05 I was busy all evening. I expect company tomorrow.
