Sunday November 11th 1906 It was quite wintry today. I was busy all forenoon with the dinner. Otts family and Hattie were out for dinner. We spent the afternoon talking over elections. Did evening work and wrote a letter to Mary Price in evening. Monday November 12th 1906 Will churned for me and then went to the field. They brought in the last of the corn at noon. I went down town at 1.30. Got some medicine of Dr Smith. Did a few errands, home at 3.15. I sewed a little in the evening. Tuesday November 12th {13th} 1906 Will helped me wash and then went to town before dinner. I sewed a little in afternoon and ironed in evening. Tom banked up the house. Will took down fence in meadow. a letter from Lydia urging me to come to Delavan soon. Wednesday November 14th 1906 I washed out some more things today and churned before noon. I ironed in afternoon. The boys were busy about the place. I read in evening, went to bed early. Thursday November 15th 1906 I went down to Coralville in the morning for some things. Mary Woolf was here part of the forenoon. I took my brown silk waist apart to fix sleeves and put in lining. Will and I fixed coops and caught 40 chickens tonight to send to town tomorrow. Read in evening.
