Sunday August 16 1903 I was busy about the house most of the forenoon read a little. In the afternoon wrote a lot of letters. Will resting and about the place all day. Will & Mary Woolf here in the evening. Monday August 17 1903 Walter came back to work this evening. He churned and washed for me. Will took some chickens & eggs to town for me. In the afternoon I began the lining to my light-silk waist. did evening work. Tuesday August 18 1903 I ironed and did some baking in the forenoon got the dinner and in the afternoon sewed on waist. The boys are busy about the place. Wednesday August 19 1903 Will and I went to town together.I was at the Dr office and got my new black silk shirt. I did a little shopping. Came home early to get dinner in the afternoon. cut out my light silk waist. Weather growing warmer.
