Saving...
Tuesday September 29th 1903 I had baking and churning this morning and put up tomatoes. I went down town in the afternoon but did not stop at home or go to the Dr it looked so much like rain. They have torn down the old crib and the boys killed a lot of rats. Will took a big load of corn to town this forenoon. Wednesday September 30th 1903 I was busy most of the morning with the work. I wrote a couple of letters. In the afternoon I took the carpet out of the dining room. Mollie went to stay all night with one of the children. Thursday October 1st 1903 I put the dining room carpet down before noon besides the other work. In the afternoon I took up the sitting room carpet. Mary Woolf was here a little while. Mollie is nearly sick with a cold. Will hauled two big loads of lumber. Mrs Pointain and Ned spend the evening here. It has looked like rain all day. I did not try to go to the Connor & Abrams reception.
