Monday October 12th 1903 It was a fine day. The men fixed my shed for the chickens and in the afternoon the feeding floor for the hogs. I put up tomatoes and grapes in the evening. I was busy about the house all day. Tuesday October 13th 1903 I was busy with the work all forenoon. Will went to town in the morning to return lumber left from crib and pay bills. He went back in the afternoon and I went to Woolfs. Mary ad I took a walk out on the R.R. grade. Mother & Hattie here while I was away. Wednesday October 14th 1903 Will took some chickens to town for me this morning. I baked bread and got a nice dinner, Will churned for me. I went down home in the afternoon. I took Mother over to Aunt Libs. The Stevens were all there. I did not stay long it looked so much like rain. I did the regular evening work and then ground tomatoes for pickle. I did not get to bed till late. was very tired. The boys are digging potatoes.
