Tuesday November 10th 1903 It was a fine forenoon. I made called till dinner time. saw Clara Foster, Mrs Will Cobean, Rie Baker Sanford. Jim took me out to see Laura Shurts and came past Marties. Did not get home till dark. Jim took me back over to Andrews to stay all night. Wednesday November 11th 1903 It rained last night so I did not start out very early went up to John Woolfs where I had dinner. Came back to Andrews and then went over to call on Rachel Hess. From there to Venes where I had supper and Jim took me over to Woolfs. we talked till late bed-time. Thursday November 12th 1903 I left Delavan at 10:30 for Burlington. Joe & Andrew and Jim were at the depot. I got dinner at Peoria and left for Burlington at 3:10. had a pleasant trip. George from the Harris house met me at the depot. Spent the evening visiting with Birdie and Gladys. I have had a very successful trip so far. Weather cold now and unpleasant.
