Saturday December 26th 1903 I was busy doing sweeping all forenoon. Will went to town and I went with him down to Fannies to see the childrens tree. weather very cold. I knit all the evening only got lunch for supper. Sunday December 27th 1903 I was busy about the house all forenoon and did not have dinner early. I read in afternoon Ida Vaughn was here awhile. I read in evening. Monday December 28th 1903 I was busy most of the forenoon with then work we got up so late. Will went in for his new man (Will Brewer) but did not bring him back. He took the train and went to Lew Price for his trunk. He came about three oclock. It was snowing some. Ida Vaughn came up to supper and spent the evening. Tuesday December 28th {should be 29th}1903 The boys went up to the pasture for another team and brought the cattle home. Will B-- went to town after dinner to begin his hauling. It was a cold day. I sewed on my waist my spare time.
