Tuesday July 1st 1902. I had Fred to help me wash. I was busy all day with the work. I have lost so much time with not feeling well and being away from home. The boys are plowing corn. Wednesday July 2 1902 I did baking ironing and some sweeping today. I had thought I would go down home late in the afternoon but we had a hard rain just at supper time, more rain at night. Thursday July 8 1902 We went down town early this morning. Some of the folks were going down to West Liberty for the day. Vene had got back from the valley and was to spend the day at Otts. Alice came out with us. I spent the time visiting with her and doing the work. Mattie Briggs is out to Mary Prices The men are busy about the place
