Wednesday July 9th 1902 It was raining a little this morning but Will and I went down to help take Vene to the depot and see her start. We came on home. I got the dinner and took a sleep in the afternoon. weather very warm. Thursday July 10th 1902 I had help with a big washing in the forenoon. I got the work all done up in good shape by two oclock and went to town The men are working at the Folsom hay I met Laura and she went back to town with me. I stopped at home for a few moments. It was late when I got my evening work done. Friday July 11th 1902. I did ironing and cake baking. I worked a little in the garden and with my chickens. I was busy all day and it was very warm. The men are busy with the hay.
