fine day. Lorie brought Mother out and I took her home and went on to town for some things. Will has had help for two days and got all the early potatoes in the cellar. The are very nice. I did the evening work and read some. Sunday October 12th 1902 It rained part of the day. I was busy about the house most of the forenoon. I read and wrote in the afternoon. Mollie came back early. Monday October 13th 1902 It was a cold windy day. I did some sewing when not busy with the wash. My cold is better but I did not try to go to town for treatment. Tuesday October 14th 1902 I was busy all forenoon with work. Mother and Aunt Sarah came. At the dinner table I got a trouble with my throat. Will took me right to town. The Dr could not find anything. The folks went home early. John & Hatt were out in the evening. I am suffering terribly with my throat.
