Thursday January 1st 1903 We were busy about the work all forenoon. Weather pleasant. Ida went home after dinner. A letter from Delavan says Martie has a new boy baby. I was busy sewing all afternoon & evening. Friday January 2nd 1903 It rained a little today but Mary Woolf came out for a visit. I helped with the dinner and sewed what spare time I had. Saturday January 3rd 1903 Churning again this morning. I did a lot of sweeping and Ida cut up a big pumpkin that Mary gave me to stew. I looked after that in the afternoon and did some sewing. Will was sick last night and does not feel very well today as we would have gone to town.
