Wednesday January 7th 1903 It was a terrible cold windy day. Mollie took her dinner to school. I sewed what I could. I was going down to Fannies to stay all night but it was too cold. Thursday January 8th 1903 Another cold day though the wind not as high. Mollie took her dinner. We did the work and I sewed on my dress. knit in the evening. Friday January 9th 1903 Weather still cold. We did churning and other work and I sewed all my spare time. Mollie went home tonight. Saturday January 10th 1903 The weather some better. We girls did baking and sweeping in the forenoon and Will and I went down town after dinner. I got the trimmings for my brown dress, was at the Dr office. We stopped at home to leave some butter as we went over. I sewed carpet rags in evening.
