Friday January 30th 1903 Was busy all forenoon with the work. Will went to town in the afternoon. He took the folks down some potatoes and butter &c. Mollie did not go home tonight. Worked on her school papers. Saturday January 31st 1903 Mother came out early this morning. She helped me iron as the clothes were sent home today. I sewed a little in afternoon and knit in evening. Alma Parvin came for Mother. She said word from Fannie her Mother was not so well and Ott had gone there from Marengo and George & Willie were coming home for Sunday. Mollie went to town this morning. weather pleasant. Sunday February 1st 1903 It was a fine day. I was busy all forenoon airing the house and putting it in order. I read and wrote all the afternoon and Mollie came back so I talked with her all evening.
