Friday February 27th 1903 It rained last night and today is warm and windy. I did a big ironing in the forenoon and in the afternoon gave the kitchen and shed a good cleaning up. Frank came for Mollie tonight. I read in evening. Saturday February 28th 1903 It turned very cold in the night and today is snow blowing some. I didnt have any extra house-work so put in some time sewing. I finished a gown I am fixing by working at night. Sunday March 1st 1903 I was busy about the work most of the forenoon. I wrote a long letter to Lydia Mason in the afternoon and read some. Talked with Mollie in evening. Monday March 2nd 1903 It was two years today since Lee died at Colorado Springs. I had a very busy forenoon. I got butter ready to take down home. I went that far with Will he went on to town. he hired a boy from Tennessee and brought him home to go to work. Weather quite pleasant. I knit in evening.
